Rent a bike at Copenhagen Strand
Bikes for different needs!
We have bikes for all ages: adult bikes, 'young adult' bikes (adult bikes with a slightly smaller frame) and children's bikes in two sizes. Bikes with child seat is available upon request.

Please note that the prices are for a full day rental within the same day, meaning that the rental expires at midnight on the day you rent the bike.
We have helmets for both children and adults included in the rental. We recommend using a helmet.
Cargo bikes and electric bikes
At Copenhagen Strand, we do not have cargo bikes and electric bikes permanently available at the hotel. If you wish to book a cargo bike or electric bike, this can be arranged upon request by contacting us at copenhagenstrand@arp-hansen.dk Prices depends on the rental period:
Please note that we cannot guarantee reservation of special bikes from day to day. Therefore, we encourage you to book well in advance.
How to reserve bikes
All bike rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis, so we do not offer advance reservations.
We have plenty of bikes, so just stop by and ask at our reception on the day that you wish to rent your bike. Especially during the summer, our bikes are very popular, so we recommend coming by to rent your bike after breakfast.

If you're not used to cycling in Copenhagen, here are some good tips to follow:
- Always wear a helmet
- Do not carry more people on the bike than allowed
- Stick to the bike lanes and keep to the right in the direction of traffic
- Use bike lights after sunset
- Raise your arm when stopping. Signal when turning right and left
- Be mindful of pedestrians and other cyclists
- Respect the traffic lights
